Improvement East supports the local authorities in the region to collaborate across all areas of children’s services, share good practice, find solutions to common challenges , be reflective, challenge each other and drive improvements.
Improvement East is founded on an agreed regional and national memorandum of understanding. Norfolk County Council act as the host authority for the programme and Helen Lincoln, Executive Director for Children, Families and Education, from Essex County Council is the lead DCS for the programme and Chairs the Children’s Improvement Board.
