Alternative Provision

The aim of this project is to improve provision and outcomes for all within each Local Authority.

About this Coomunity of Practice

The Alternative Provision Community of Practice brings together practitioners, leaders, and partners to connect, collaborate, and continually improve outcomes for children and young people. Its purpose is to provide a supportive space to share good practice, exchange ideas, and learn from one another’s experience, reflecting on what works well and exploring innovative approaches. Through open discussion, shared learning, and collective problem‑solving, the community strengthens inclusive, high‑quality practice across alternative provision and supports ongoing professional development for all involved.
