Partnership & Engagement

Our aim is to work collaboratively with each Local Authority and partnerships to improve outcomes across the Region.

How does this work with the East?

Strong partnership and engagement sit at the heart of our work, ensuring practice is informed, connected, and responsive to regional and local needs. We work collaboratively with practitioners, leaders, and partners to support continuous improvement and shared learning.

Engagement is achieved through a range of structured and inclusive approaches, including Communities of Practice, which provide spaces for professionals to share experiences, explore challenges, and learn from one another. These insights help shape practice and highlight areas for development across the system.

Strategic direction and oversight are provided through a Strategic Steer Board, ensuring that learning from practice influences decision‑making, priorities, and future planning. This is complemented by regional sharing platforms, which enable wider dissemination of learning, promote consistency, and strengthen collaboration across organisations and localities.

Together, these approaches ensure that partnership working remains meaningful, inclusive, and focused on achieving positive outcomes across the region.
